What is Rogue Legacy?

  • You will die, but your children will avenge you. They might be genetically deficient, but that's ok. You still love your colour-blind baby. Or do you?
  • A procedurally generated castle. Every playthrough is different.
  • Over 8 classes to choose from. Each class has unique abilities which change the way you play the game.
  • Every time you play you get a little stronger. Never back to square 1.

  What platforms is the game released on?  
  PC. MAC. LINUX. It was released on the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita on July 29, 2014 in North America. It also came on Xbox One on May 27, 2015.

  Yes you can.

  When is Rogue Legacy coming out?  
  The initial version of the game was released on June 27, 2013.  
     
  When will the Mac/Linux versions come out?  
  It took a while, but the Mac and Linux versions were released on October 15, 2013.  
     
  When will the PS3/PS4/PS Vita versions come out?  
  It took an even longer while, but the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita versions of the game came out on July 29, 2014, in North America and July 30, 2014, in European regions.  
     
  When will the Xbox One version come out?  
  It took the longest but the Xbox One version was released on May 27, 2015.  
     
  The game isn't running on my Windows 8 machine. What do I do?  
  The game should have no problems running on Windows 8. The only limitation is that it must be run in desktop mode, and does not have native Metro support. If you are experiencing problems regardless, it's probably just a general game bug. In that case, please send us an email at support@cellardoorgames.com.
